Sydenham Hill Estate Weekly Works Update: w/c Monday 30 June 2025

Dear Neighbour,

Please find below the activities that are scheduled to take place from the week commencing Monday 30 June 2025 in connection with the Sydenham Hill Estate Redevelopment Project.

Monday 30 June - Friday 4 July; Saturday 5 July (08.00 – 13.00)

Bean Tree Court, Block A

  • Snagging to all apartments

  • Final decorations to corridors

  • Lift commissioning ongoing

  • Tiling to main entrance area walls

  • Landscaping to perimeter

Block B

  • Decoration to various apartments, 2nd -3rd floor

  • Mechanical & electrical second fix, ground – 2nd floor apartments

  • Kitchens & tiling, 4th - 6th floor

  • Plastering corridors

  • Scaffold strike to perimeter continues

  • Remedial work to slab in cycle store

Block C

  • Corridor ceiling finishes

  • Flooring, ground & lower ground apartments

  • Kitchen installation – 3rd floor apartments

  • Tiling to bathrooms & kitchens – various apartments

  • Final decorations to various apartments

Otto Close

  • Rear elevation roofs, external snagging, internal dry-lining - houses 1-4

  • Roof tiling, zinc to front elevation, internal dry-lining - houses 5-7

  • Complete dormas, strike scaffolding, setting out of internal walls – houses 8-11

Pitch

  • Clear away from recent demolition

  • No works to pitch on Saturday

Deliveries

  • No scaffold collection planned

  • Muck- away vehicles to clear pitch in Otto Close

Note/Future works

  • Weekend works: We will be working in the entrance of Block A until 4pm on Saturday and 8am-4pm on Sunday. This will be one tiler with minimal noise, all doors will be closed and he will be supervised by Dumitri. As these works are at the entrance to the staircase they cannot be completed during normal site hours; this has been approved by the Council.

  • We are planning to lay the concrete floor planks on the pitch on Monday 14 July – Tuesday 15 July, which will mean some disruption to vehicles in Otto Close on those dates.
